In order to celebrate the centennial of the CPC, on June 28th, the foundation held a series of party history learning and education activities “Remember the striving history, followthePartyallone'slife” Party class.Mo Wenxiu, chair ofthe board of WRSF, and the senior memberof the CPCfor nearly 50 yearsattended theclass.Zhang Rujie, vice chair and secretary generalofWRSF held the class. From the law of historical development, the Party's struggle, the domestic and international situation, the growth and success of young people, why to learn the history of the Party, what to learn, how to learn and how to do.

Why study the Party history?Li Jun quoted the important speeches of the General Secretary about the Party History Study and Education, relevant documents and important literature of the Party, and authoritative discourses, and explained in detail the importance of Party History Study and Education in the great rejuvenation of China, firming the Party's faith and belief, and keeping the Party alive and vibrant. It was stressed that China's modern history is a history of continuous exploration of national rejuvenation and salvation, and that the CPC is a proletarian political party born out of the great trend of the times and shouldering great historical responsibility. Learning the "Four Histories" could enable us to fully understand, from historical practice and experience, why the CPC is capable, why Marxism works and why socialism with Chinese characteristics could work. As a result, we will be more determined to align ourselves with the CPC and always follow the Party.

What do we learn and how do we learn? General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the Party members' learning and education mobilization conference that through learning and education, all members of the Party will be able to learn history to be clear, to enhance their credibility, to learn history to be virtuous, to learn history to practice, and to embark on a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way with a high attitude.To learn history well means to have a thorough understanding of the achievements of adapting Marxism to Chinese conditions, especially the scientific truth of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to systematically grasp the positions, viewpoints and methods of Marxism that run through it, and to raise the ideological and theoretical level of the whole Party.To enhance credibility in the study of history is to strengthen historical consciousness, maintain strategic focus, build a solid foundation of faith, have a deep understanding of theCPC political power, theNew China, and thesocialism with Chinese characteristics, strengthen faith in Marxism, faith in socialism and communism, and confidence in the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation. We will strengthen our political and action consciousness to be loyal to, uphold and align with the CPC. To learn from history and to honour virtue is to carry forward fine traditions, inherit the virtues of patrioticspirit, enhance the awareness of the Party and its members, practise the core values of socialism, promote the national spirit with patriotism at its core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation at its core, establish political virtue, understand great virtue, guard public virtue and be strict with private virtue, perpetuate the heart of loyalty to the Party and to the people, and perpetuate the Party's advancement and purity.The purpose of learning from history is to strengthen party spirit, sharpen political character, practice a combination of knowledge and action, constantly improve the ability to grasp the overall situation, deal with risks and challenges, and promote practical work, so as to grow in talent and build new achievements in fighting against struggles, building great projects, making endeavorsand realizing great dreams.

What should we do? We should strengthen the WRSF's CPC Party branch in conjunction with CPC history study and education, and form a fighting group that is loyal to the CPC, law-abiding, united, and not seeking personal gain.

It is necessary to steadily promote various learning and educational activities, promote innovation in content, form, and methods, and pay attention to special lectures, learning walls, and learning training to ensure the quality of learning and education. It is necessary to grasp the "three meetings and one lesson" of the party branch, make good use of learning platforms such as "xuexi.cn" and "12371.cn" to continuously improve learning quality and efficiency. It is necessary to make full use of the resources of the national patriotic education base to organize on-site learning.
